Intrepid HV explorers tackled the Pecos River last month just for the heck of it and to scout out another adventure.
Veteran HV adventurer Adam Rodriguez was joined by Shannon Trimble, an education Phd candidate at Baylor University. The two kayaked from Pandale to Amistad, arriving ahead of schedule.
On the right, Shannon looks over the gear at the first camp. The blue material behind him is a tarp and all the shelter they brought with them. Adam says they kept it to the bare neccessities.
Jim Glasscock says plans are in the works for a major Pecos River excursion.
